We made it – our aid has finally arrived in Lebanon!

After months of discussions, setbacks and anxious moments, the time has finally come: our two containers with urgently needed relief supplies have arrived in Lebanon – and successfully cleared customs!

It was particularly difficult this time: the current government has banned support for refugees in many places, so at times it seemed almost impossible to get our donations into the country. But we didn’t give up – and your trust, your donations and your encouragement gave us the strength to keep going.

The relief supplies have been distributed since Tuesday – and the people are very happy!
Our partner organizations, the schools and the families in the camps can hardly believe that the urgently needed clothing, shoes, school materials and aids have finally arrived – just in time for winter.

What is a bureaucratic success for us means a bit of security and warmth for many local people.
Children in particular, who live in tents on the plateau, will get through the cold months better thanks to the warm clothes.

Our Karawani Kamar is already in the middle of distributing the school materials that have been awaited for so long. And these days, Sonja is travelling to Lebanon again to personally accompany the distribution of over 2,000 boxes and more than 20 tons of relief supplies.

We support a total of seven projects – from the advancement of women and schools to programs for refugees, children with disabilities and families in need.

None of this would have been possible without you.
Thank you for your donations, your positive thoughts and your compassion.
You have helped hope and humanity find their way even in difficult times.

Together we made it – and sent a strong sign of solidarity to Lebanon. 💛
