Every single donation counts!
The Caravan of Humanity asks you for donations for our aid projects in Greece, Bosnia, Italy, Syria and Lebanon!
As long as there is no meaningful humane policy, we have the responsibility to set a sign of humanity and to pass on some of our prosperity.
100% of the monetary donations are forwarded to the people in need on site and used for food, medicine, school materials, etc. or forwarded to local NGOs on site.

The transparent handling of your donations is extremely important to us! We work in a small team, of course all on a voluntary basis, and together we pursue the goal of a human family in a better world. Trust and transparency are among our core values. So every single cent donated benefits people in need – here you can get an overview for yourself.
- EUR 30,157.45 NGO “Doctors Without Borders”
- EUR 10,000 NGO “Home for all” for food for the people in the Kara Tepe camp
- EUR 5,454.43 food purchases for the people in the Kara Tepe camp
- EUR 2,000, – NGO “Team Humanity” (operate some important donation distribution points on Lesbos)
- EUR 1,500, – NGO “Pikpa – Lesvos Solidarity” (a project where unaccompanied minors find protection with a lot of love and humanity)
- EUR 1,000 NGO “Stand by me Lesvos” (self-managed aid project for refugees)
- EUR 370, – to buy clothes for an Afghan family with 3 children
= EUR 50,481.88
The total costs for the team on site (5 people) of € 4,810.29 for petrol, hotel, food, etc. were borne 100% by the passengers themselves.
The “Together” association has paid for the transport costs for the truck with the donations in kind of € 3,700 (here again a big thank you!).

The total costs for the team on site (2 people) of EUR 755.28 for gasoline, motorway toll, hotel, food, etc. were 100% borne by the passengers themselves.

The total costs for the team on site (3 people) of EUR 1,812.15 for petrol, motorway toll, hotel, food, telephone costs, etc. were 100% borne by the passengers themselves.
The Together association took over the transport costs for the truck with the donations in kind of EUR 800 (here again a big thank you!).
With the following donations we have supported friendly NGOs, associations and people whose work we know well and consider very important.
January 13, 2021: EUR 200 for the NGO “Open Arms”, who have saved thousands of lives as sea rescuers in recent years.
February 22, 2021: EUR 200 for the carpentry training of the deported Nigerian Ajaber Benson Ijeoma
March 31, 2021: EUR 100 for the non-profit association “Weltweitwandern Wirkt” for the encounter trip of refugees in Austria.
March 31, 2021: EUR 1,000 for the NGO “Sea Eye” for the boat renovation of Sea Eye No. 4. The NGO has so far saved more than 15,000 refugees from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea.
May 17, 2021: EUR 500 to the association “Menschen im Dialog” for orphans in Nepal
May 19, 2021: EUR 1,036 to the Indian association “CTRD” for urgently needed food during a serious supply crisis in the tribal villages of Tamil Nadu.
1.12.2021: EUR 130 for the photographer training of the Afghan refugee Mahmoud Alizada on Lesvos.
December 23, 2021: EUR 1,000 to the “Gablitz Kitchen” association, which ensures the daily supply of hot meals to 350 people in a refugee camp in northern Syria.
December 28th, 2021: EUR 896,- for the association “Bhutan Network”
December 31, 2021: EUR 1,000 for the NGO “Lesvos Solidarity”, which oversees numerous flagship projects for refugees on Lesvos.
March 21, 2022: EUR 650 to the association “Gablitz hilft”, which runs a kindergarten in the Atama camp, one of the largest refugee camps in Syria. This money will be used to buy a new photovoltaic system that was destroyed in a storm.

The total costs for the team on site (2 people) in the amount of EUR 2,592.89.- for flights, rental car, petrol, hotel, food, etc. were borne 100% by the passengers themselves.
The Together association has paid for the transport costs for the two trucks with the donations in kind of EUR 7,400.00 (thank you again!).
UPDATE January 2022: EUR 10,000 for the NGO “Home for all” for food for the people in the Kara Tepe camp
Donation income: EUR 22,972.00
Donations passed on to the following NGOs, as well as for the following purchases:
- EUR 5,000, – “Hope Journey Project” (a project that enables children with severe war injuries to undergo vital operations)
- EUR 7,091.41 bulk purchase of medicines for Syrian children in the various refugee camps in southern Turkey
- EUR 6,314.96 bulk purchase of clothing for Syrian children in the various refugee camps in southern Turkey
- EUR 4,212.63 bulk purchase of groceries for Syrian children in the various refugee camps in southern Turkey
- EUR 353, – purchase of toys for Syrian children in the various refugee camps in southern Turkey
Of the total costs for the team on site (9 people) in the amount of EUR 5,787.37 for flights, rental car, petrol, hotel, food, etc., EUR 2,267.06 was borne by the passengers themselves. The remaining amount of EUR 3,520.31 was taken over by friends who dedicated their donations specifically to the project costs. We would like to thank Iring Süss from Treebee and Elias Szifkovits from Keimblatt for their support!
GEA Waldviertler took over the transport costs for the truck with the donations in kind amounting to EUR 4,850.00 (here again a big thank you!).

Donations used for the following purchases:
- EUR 18,318.24 Purchase of heating oil for 1,200 people in unheated tents in various refugee camps in northern Lebanon
- EUR 5,140.50 financing of a school building (rent and electricity) for one year in advance, as well as purchase of all school desks and chairs
- EUR 938,- Purchase of various school materials (printer, blackboard, exercise books, pens, globes, etc.)
- EUR 719,- Purchase of groceries for Syrian children in the various refugee camps in North Lebanon
Of the total costs for the team on site (9 people) in the amount of EUR 6,504.25 for flights, rental car, gasoline, hotel, food, etc., EUR 3,309.85 were borne by the passengers themselves. The remaining amount or the total costs for the four clowns without borders in the amount of EUR 3,194.40 was taken over by the association Clowns without borders eV. Thank you very much for your support!
The Together-Verein and GEA Waldviertler took over the transport costs as well as customs costs for the truck with the donations in kind in the amount of EUR 8,680.50. Thank you very much for that!

The total costs for the team on site (4 people) amounting to EUR 869.05 for fuel and food were taken over by friends who dedicated their donations specifically to the project costs. We would like to thank Simone Frühwirth for the support!
March 6, 2022: EUR 1,000 for the purchase of diapers for our aid transport for Ukrainian refugees

EUR 2,548.56: Construction of a new solar system at the “Balm Center for Children with Disabilities”
EUR 2,651.44: Salaries for the 23 carers of the “Sebleen Center for Children with Disabilities”
EUR 3,300: Financing of rent and electricity for our “Oxygen” school in the Shatila refugee ghetto in Beirut
EUR 4,595.67: salaries for three teachers and one assistant teacher for one year
EUR 1,574.65: school equipment such as laptops, printers, chairs, fans
EUR 433.58 Jerseys for a boys’ and a girls’ football team
EUR 480: School materials such as exercise books, pens, books, etc. EUR 110: water dispenser and water supplies so that the students have access to drinking water
EUR 3,400: Financing of rent and electricity for our second school “Together we can” in the Burj al Barajneh refugee ghetto in Beirut
EUR 540,-: School materials such as notebooks, pens, books, etc.
Of the total costs for the team on site, amounting to EUR 9,823.23 for flights, rental car, petrol, hotel, food, etc., EUR 4,590.51 were borne by the passengers themselves. The remaining amount or the total costs for the four Clowns without Borders, amounting to EUR 5,232.72, were paid in full by the Clowns without Borders e.V. association. We thank you very much for the support!

- Trinkgeld an den LKW Fahrer Nicola, der uns sehr engagiert beim stundenlangen Ein- und Ausladen geholfen hat: EUR 150,-
- LKW Transportkosten nach Calais: EUR 1.000,-
Die Gesamtkosten für das Team vor Ort in der Höhe von EUR 3.714,39 für Züge, Benzin, Hotel, Essen usw. wurden zur Gänze von den MitfahrerInnen selbst getragen.

- Spenden weitergegeben an den Verein „Gablitz hilft“, die in den Erdbebengebieten Lebensmittel, Wasser, Hygieneprodukte und andere dringend benötigte Hilfsgüter an die Opfer verteilen: EUR 23.326,-
- Spenden weitergegeben an private syrische Freunde unseres Teammitglieds Farah Tawfeek, die vor Ort Medikamente verteilen: EUR 1.500.-
