In the huge refugee camps, the so-called "mobile painting room" is another important part of our work. In total, we have already opened seven painting rooms for around 800 children - that was a lot of creativity and fun!
After a complicated four-hour border procedure, our aid team has now arrived safely in the Rojava region in north-eastern Syria.
After many days of collecting and sorting the donations in kind, we were able to load the truck with the relief supplies and send it on its way!
So that we can distribute the relief supplies locally in a targeted and sensible way, it is important to sort them clearly.
To help families through the icy winter cold in the north of Lebanon, we have been regularly funding heating material since February 2022.
The caravan was "born" on Lesbos, as our very first project in 2020 took us to the Greek island to help refugees in need.
It wasn't easy, but we managed it in the end: The truck was able to cross the Serbian-Hungarian border and has now arrived in Subotica.
