Supporting the flagship project "Casa Sankara" is one of our oldest projects, which we have been supporting since December 2020. This time we were able to help with high-quality sewing machines from Oberwart.

In the huge Washokani camp, which has become a new home for more than 16,000 internally displaced persons, there are of course thousands of children. By no means all of them have the opportunity to attend school.
On all our aid missions, it is very important to us to meet people at eye level and to give them hope and joie de vivre through our presence.

Around 16,000 Syrians who have been displaced from their home town live in the huge Washokani refugee camp in north-eastern Syria. Among them are thousands of children.
After a 20-day journey, the time had finally come yesterday: our truck - filled with donations in kind from Austria and Germany - made it across the border to Syria!
