After a journey of several days, the truck, fully loaded with the donations in kind, arrived in Calais/France at the weekend!

A few days ago we returned to Austria and since then we have been carrying a somewhat heavier heart...

Thanks to GEA Waldviertler, we were able to distribute 1,000 pairs of high-quality shoes, fairly produced in Austria, to refugees in need over the last few days.

As we are collecting garbage at one of the many wild tent camps in Calais, suddenly 10 buses with 50 heavily armed policemen arrive.

While we distribute relief supplies here every day to people who sometimes don't even have shoes at temperatures around freezing point, we often find ourselves in tears.

Today we prepared the relief goods for the upcoming distribution in the sorting office of our partner NGO Collective Aid Calais.

Yesterday afternoon, the truck full of our relief supplies left on its journey to Calais. Our summary: 13.400 kg donations in kind, 15.685,- € cash donations

Our sorting office in Güssing is bustling with activity: all donations in kind are sorted and bundled here. Thanks to all helpers!

At the end of November, we roll up our sleeves again to help refugees in need in the French port city of Calais and the surrounding area.
