Today we’re celebrating a birthday! Six years of the Caravan of Humanity. Six years full of encounters, a spirit of helpfulness, and solidarity in action.

What began in September 2020 with a trip to Lesbos has turned into a large caravan:

• 22 on-site rescue operations
• 12 countries of operation
• Over 200,000 kg of in-kind donations
• 782,554 euros in donations distributed
• Supported the establishment and continued operation of 2 schools in Lebanon
• 42,000 meals: Assistance with preparation and distribution in refugee camps
• 7,000 pairs of shoes distributed to refugees
• 86 clown shows & 35 art workshops for children
• 30,000 € for heating supplies for 800 families
• An incredible 23,135 volunteer hours from 345 contributors

But behind all these numbers are people. People who donate, collect, sort, organize, volunteer, sponsor projects, and become supporting members—and people who place their trust in us.

That’s why this birthday isn’t just ours. It belongs to all of you. THANK YOU!

And the caravan moves on. Because we continue to believe in a world where global solidarity and moral courage are the rule rather than the exception.
People for People. That’s what matters.
