Our truck is on its way to Lesbos

It’s done: Our largest in-kind donation drive to date is almost complete, and we’re now even able to send two trucks to Lesbos!
An incredible 25 metric tons of relief supplies were sorted at our distribution center in Güssing over the past few weeks and ultimately packed into 2,053 banana boxes. In addition, bicycles, wheelchairs, strollers, blankets, and thousands of stuffed animals are also on their way to Greece/Lesbos.

Thanks to the hard work of students from BORG Güssing and the Güssing Special Education School, as well as many other volunteers, we were ultimately able to handle this large volume of in-kind donations and finally load them onto the truck yesterday. A big thank you once again to Sandra Fink-Rothmüller from Wagner Immobilien Management, who has been providing us with space for sorting for years now. This is a huge help and support for us!

Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that the transport goes smoothly and the truck can make it to Lesbos as planned.

P.S.: After distributing in-kind donations on Lesbos, our team will travel on to Egypt to provide aid on the ground. Anyone who would like to support children in Gaza is welcome to do so by making a monetary donation. You can donate online here or simply via our donation account:
