As an Austrian with Egyptian roots, she navigates between two cultures and is committed to dialogue, understanding, and peaceful coexistence. A particular focus of her work is on the humanitarian consequences of the Middle East conflict and the suffering of the people in Gaza. Through both her educational and peace-building work in schools and her contacts with affected families in Egypt, she is committed to humanity and solidarity.
