Thank you to our collection sites, sorters, drivers, and every single person who lent a hand!
Our fundraising campaign for people on the Greek island of Lesbos has come to an end—and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks.
A huge thank you to all the Karawanis who have volunteered to serve as collection points over the past few weeks. You’ve accepted donations, sorted them, answered questions, and helped out with great dedication—and in doing so, you’ve played a central role in our relief effort for families on Lesbos.
Thanks to you, we were able to collect an impressive amount of urgently needed in-kind donations. We are currently working in Güssing with many volunteers to carefully sort all the donations and pack them into banana boxes for safe transport.
The first truck will set out for the Greek island at the end of this week, delivering clothing, hygiene products, shoes, school supplies, and much more directly to those who need them most.
💛 You can still help:
After distributing the in-kind donations on Lesbos, our aid team will continue on to Egypt: By making a monetary donation, you can support Palestinian children from Gaza in the north of the country as well as refugees from Sudan in southern Egypt, where food is especially urgently needed. Every contribution helps and brings hope.
