Behind the Scenes: Meike & Bruno

When we report on the projects of the Caravan of Humanity, we often see the interactions, the clown shows, the art workshops, or the distribution of relief supplies. But behind all of this are people who, with great dedication and passion, make these moments possible in the first place.

One of them is our fellow traveler, Meike. Over many months, she devoted countless hours of her free time to making connections, coordinating schedules, and planning the entire itinerary for our group. With her dedication, perseverance, and organizational skills, she made a crucial contribution to the success of this project.

Just as indispensable is our Karawani Bruno. He pitches in wherever help is needed, thinks ahead, helps with planning, and keeps a clear head even in challenging situations. At the same time, he captures the many special encounters and moving moments with his camera and shares them with you.

These two are rarely in the spotlight—and yet many of our projects wouldn’t be possible without their dedication.
