Hygiene & water for 1,300 people in Akkar – help that arrives

The need is great, the living conditions precarious: in two sprawling refugee camps in Akkar, in the north of Lebanon, hundreds of families live in the most basic conditions – without a secure supply of water, hygiene products or medical care.

Together with our trusted local partner organization, we were able to provide targeted help on the ground: Drinking water canisters and hygiene packages were distributed to around 1,300 people – a small but crucial contribution to improving basic services.
