850 children. 12 shows. 3 clowns. Countless moments full of joie de vivre.

Over the last few days, our small aid team has been out and about in many places in Lebanon – with them: the wonderful clowns Fatoush, Falafel & Waheed.

In a region shaken by political, economic and social crises, the last few days have been a very special moment for many children in Lebanon: our clown shows.

Together with the wonderful clowns Fatoush, Falafel & Waheed, our team has organized 12 shows for more than 850 children over the past few days – in large refugee camps in Akkar in the north, in the Bekaa Valley and in the Palestinian districts of Shatila and Burj Barajneh in Beirut. Many of the children had never seen clowns before. Their reactions were overwhelming – amazement, laughter, participation.

In the midst of uncertainty, poverty and a lack of prospects, this brief experience was a real ray of hope. Especially now, in a particularly tense phase in the Middle East, such moments of childlike joy and light-heartedness are particularly valuable – and important.

We would like to thank all our supporters who have made this trip and the shows possible. Your donations not only provide material help – but also hope and humanity.
