Sponsors wanted for school children in Lebanon!

Two schools in the middle of huge refugee ghettos in Beirut/Lebanon are among our heartfelt projects. Around 30,000 people live in each of these “ghettos”, who are still considered refugees after decades and have very few rights in Lebanon; they are “second-class people”, so to speak. There are also hardly any educational opportunities for the thousands of children in such ghettos.
It fills us with joy and hope that we have been able to support these school projects for years. Around 200 children regularly attend the two schools and can thus exercise their right to education! Its long-term preservation is only possible thanks to the support of our sponsors. A big THANK YOU for that!

Our team visits the school projects every year: it is always a joyful reunion with Batoul and Mirvat, the two directors. Together, we look at the developments of recent months and make sustainable plans for the future. We also hand over the donations from the sponsorships for the annual rent and wages. However, these have unfortunately risen enormously in 2024.

It is therefore essential that we find more sponsors to help us finance the running costs of the schools.
Sponsorships give these children a better future – become a sponsor now, because together we can achieve great things!
