Painting for the heart
In addition to the clown shows, the so-called “mobile painting room” is another important part of our work in the huge refugee camps.
The Karawanis Farah, Meike, Rainer, Rashin and Kamar set up the mobile painting room, where the children can paint to their heart’s content with wooden and felt-tip pens and watercolors on paper.
We have already opened a total of seven painting rooms for around 500 children – that was a lot of creativity and fun!
On the very first day, we noticed that many of the children had actually painted the pictures for us and were rather disappointed when we said that they could take the pictures home with them. So now we have a big pack of painted pictures in our luggage that we can bring back to Austria and Germany as a positive energy transfer for all our supporters.
