71 love letters from Rust
It has already become a cherished ritual for us Karawanis: pupils from different parts of Austria write lovingly designed letters, which we then hand over to the pupils in our schools in Beirut.
But for the children in Lebanon, these letters are anything but “normal”: beaming with joy and full of curiosity, they open their personal letter and we sense their enthusiasm and gratitude that such an exchange is possible. We are often asked at the handover whether this letter is really meant for them!
But just take a look at the pictures of the handover – then you’ll know what our love letters mean. This time the letters were written by children from Rust – many thanks for the warm design and so much humanity to all the children involved and Victoria Schreiner for the organization!
