After many days of collecting and sorting the donations in kind, the time had finally come at the end of the week: we were able to load the truck with the relief supplies and send it on its journey to Rojava! Our summary: 10,740 kg donations in kind & 31,400 € cash donations!

Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed that all the “customs hurdles” are overcome…

➡We loaded a total of 10,740 kg of donations in kind into the truck. Around 5,000 cuddly toys are involved – each one will hopefully make a child in Syria happy. Many thanks to all donors who make this possible!

Thanks also to Sandra Fink-Rothmüller from the WIM Center in Güssing, who once again provided us with the premises for sorting free of charge!
Thanks to the students of the BORG Güssing and the many other helpers – thanks to your support, the loading of these quantities went relatively quickly!

We were able to collect a total of €31,400 in donations, which will be handed over to our local partner organization. This is used to buy urgently needed goods such as food or medicines locally.

Each and every one of you has made this proud résumé possible – in the spirit of the human family, we can once again set a wonderful example of humanity. A huge THANK YOU for that!

Our aid team is traveling to Rojava/Syria in mid-April to support several projects on the ground. Our clowns will once again be part of this, bringing a little “glitter” into the children’s everyday lives with their performances. We’ll keep you up to date.
