Today we introduce you to our partner organization, without whom we would not be able to implement our project here in Kurdistan so perfectly: The 12 women of Jinda Organization (which means “new beginning” in Kurdish) fight tirelessly and with incredible commitment for women’s rights in Kurdistan.

Jinda Organization was founded in 2015 due to the terrible IS attacks around the city of Shingal. Since then, especially girls and young women who were severely traumatized during the wars have been supported. Therapies but also vocational trainings are organized to give these girls and women a new start and to give them life perspectives.

We are glad that we can support their important work and could hand over 7 donated sewing machines as well as 7 laptops for the vocational trainings. In addition, the €25,340 in monetary donations will allow us to support their valuable project work. Thank you to the many donors who made this support possible!

Together with the Jinda team, we travel daily to orphanages and to the numerous surrounding camps of refugees to hand over donations in kind and to give joy to life with the clowns and the mobile painting room.
