Today we prepared the relief goods for the upcoming distribution in the sorting office of our partner NGO.

prepared the relief goods for the upcoming distribution. Good organization is essential when handing out relief supplies, because our helpers then have to have the appropriate support for the people in need ready very quickly when they go out themselves.

So our team packed sleeping bags and tents, and prepared winter jackets and blankets. Furthermore, we helped in the kitchen to support the upcoming food distribution. And we chopped wood so that we can distribute it to the refugees so that they can at least warm themselves by a fire.

The next few days we will be on the outskirts of the port city of Calais to pass on the donations in kind to freezing, needy people…we will report.
