Waldviertel shoes for Syrian orphans

After the truck arrived in Syria in mid-June, we immediately started unloading the relief supplies. On board were toys, school equipment, clothing, etc., as well as a very special donation: namely 600 (!) Pairs of new GEA Waldviertler shoes! Once again, Heini Staudinger and his brilliant team from GEA Waldviertler supported one of our relief efforts. The orphans were very happy when they received their first own new Waldviertel shoes!
Mohammed Ismail, the founder of the school for orphans in Syria, was overwhelmed by the generous donation from Austria: “The children will hopefully wear the shoes on their rocky road to a good future.”
We would like to thank GEA from the bottom of our hearts for this extraordinary donation – GEA is a company that only knows and stands for one human family. THANKS!
